OUR MISSION : To cultivate, celebrate and elevate the art of independent film through creation, education and presentation.
At our core, Iris Arts Institute was created to provide a vigorous refuge for filmmakers who want to make a difference. It all begins with the Iris Global Health Film Festival at historic e-town in Boulder, CO. With this one of a kind festival we strive to foster a deeper understanding of what it means to “live well” while also nurturing creativity within the independent filmmaking community.
OUR Vision : To be the global source for films that make a difference!
We will accomplish this with a combination of excellence and empathy as we become the global ambassador for films and filmmakers who move people to move people.
Iris Arts Institute is a 501(c)(3) registered Non-Profit.
A unique fusion of entertainment and enlightenment, fostering an active pursuit of a healthier world.
The Iris Global Health Film Festival (IGHFF) illuminates the silver screen with captivating films that explore a diverse range of health subjects, from individual vitality to the ecological well-being of our planet. Through engaging narratives and thought-provoking documentaries, we celebrate the interplay of art and well-being. With expert panels and educational events that deepen understanding and inspire change, we light the path to wellness for all.
An Iris is the mechanism through which light enters a camera, but within the captivating tapestry of cinema, it metamorphoses into a radiant gateway, illuminating the very essence of humanity and crafting narratives that etch unforgettable imprints on our souls. Taking inspiration from this ethereal keyhole the Iris Arts Institute amplifies that light, hoping to be just a small part of spreading it for all to see.
